This policy explains what happens to personal data when you visit this website. Personal data is any information that can identify you. Data you provide, such as in an enquiry, is collected directly; technical data such as browser, operating system and access time may be collected automatically. Data is used to operate the website correctly and, where applicable and consented to, to analyse usage. You have rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection and complaint to a supervisory authority.

Data is stored only as long as required for its purpose or by law. Processing is based, as applicable, on consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), contractual necessity (Art. 6(1)(b)), legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)) or legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)). Consent may be withdrawn at any time without affecting earlier processing. Transfers to countries outside the EU may carry a lower level of protection; where used, recognised safeguards such as EU standard contractual clauses apply.

4. Your rights

You may request information about your stored data, its origin, recipients and purpose, as well as correction, deletion or restriction. You may receive automatically processed data in a commonly used, machine-readable format. You may object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR for reasons arising from your particular situation, and at any time to direct marketing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

5. Security and unsolicited advertising

This website uses SSL or TLS encryption to protect confidential transmissions. Complete protection during internet transmission cannot be guaranteed. The use of contact details published under legal notice obligations for unsolicited advertising is expressly opposed.

6. Cookies and consent

Necessary cookies may be used on the basis of legitimate interests; non-essential cookies and comparable technologies are used only with consent where required. 7. Contact by email or telephone

If you contact us by email, telephone or fax, your enquiry and the resulting personal data are processed to handle your request. They are not shared without consent and are deleted when the purpose ends, subject to statutory retention duties. The legal basis is contractual necessity, legitimate interest in handling enquiries or consent.

8. Social media integrations

Functions from services such as X/Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, XING and Pinterest may establish a direct connection to their providers when activated. Providers may receive your IP address, link visits to your account and transfer data to third countries. These services are used with consent where required; otherwise only where a legitimate interest applies. Details and privacy settings are available in each provider’s privacy policy.

9. Newsletter

Newsletter registration requires an email address and confirmation that you own it and agree to receive the newsletter. Processing is based on consent and may be withdrawn through the unsubscribe link. Data is deleted after unsubscribing or when no longer required; an email address may remain on a suppression list solely to prevent future mailings.

10. Fonts and external profiles

Fonts used by the website may be hosted locally. Public profiles may be maintained on Facebook, X/Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, XING, LinkedIn, Vimeo, YouTube and TikTok. Those networks can analyse usage, use cookies and create interest profiles. Rights can generally be asserted both against us and the relevant platform, although we do not control the platform’s own processing or retention.
